The Breathe Gathering is a powerful gathering of God's women from across the Midwest Conference of the Covenant. We gather together to learn, grow, cheer one another on in the faith, and then we send ourselves out to be the church in the many places God has placed us!
We are undoubtedly better together! Scripture calls us to be connected to Christ and His people. At the Breathe Gathering 2022, we are going to make much of Christ and enjoy the beautiful ways we are connected to Christ and to one another as Christ's church. Join us for an incredible weekend of worship, teaching, connection, and fun!
We are so grateful to be able to host the Breathe Gathering at Community Covenant Church in Lenexa, Kansas on October 7-9, 2022!

As a gathering of women, we believe that we are better together and that together we can go further in mission. With this in mind - we are collecting school supplies for Lee County, Virginia schools, an under resourced area in Appalachia near Covenant Mountain Mission Bible Camp. Your generous donations of school supplies help teachers resource students. This area is on our radar for a number of reasons, but largely because Women Ministries of the Midwest Conference is working to establish a Missionary Partnership with Covenant Mountain Mission Bible Camp in Jonesville, Virginia. This partnership aims to resource the camp with school supplies so that they can resource local schools so that as they connect and build a stronger relationship with teachers and the school district, they will also be able to connect more and more kids to the Gospel through the ministries of the camp. The MWC Women Ministries is in process of organizing a mission trip to Covenant Mountain Mission Bible Camp in May of 2023! Follow MWC Women Ministries on Facebook for more information about how you can be involved.

For over 60 years, as women in the Midwest Conference have gathered together, one of the most powerful things that have come out of our gathering have been the impact we have had on multiple mission projects including investing in Covenant Kids Camp, Covenant Cedars, Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center, Advocacy for Victims of Abuse, Break the Chains (now the FREE Initiative), Scholarships for Resonate and the Midwest Conference Seminary program EQUIP, and more. We continue that investment - being better together and believing that together we can do far more together than we can ever do apart. This year's mission offering will go to support Crisalida a non-profit engaging in recovery from violence and abuse, Equip Scholarships for Women, and Covenant Camps. Thank you in advance for your gifts towards these projects!

Women have been gathering at women's conferences and retreats in the Midwest Conference for well over 60 years! We continue the tradition of meeting together for worship, connection, and communion.
Breathe, it is the vessel in which God is breathing new life and we are joining Him on a new journey. While some elements of our former gatherings will be a part of Breathe, we believe that there are new things for new seasons, and this is our time to step into that.
Breathe was formed out of a deep desire to connect women, equip and encourage, and send out women back into our churches to make a Kingdom impact where God has placed them.
As Covenant people, we believe that we are better together. Breathe is no exception, what was once 3 separate Women Ministries "retreats" is now a combined weekend of worship, connection, and proclaiming the Word. It is no longer a retreat per say, but a gathering of women, who long to go deeper in relationship with Jesus. It's a place where movement begins and life extends.
One of the greatest opportunities we have as women gathered is to make a Kingdom impact through missional avenues! We are so excited to partner with the Midwest Conference Women Ministries to provide two mission projects at Breathe.
Details will be released soon, so check back to see how you can be involved in what God is doing in and through us in the Midwest Conference and beyond!
